We are at the foot of the Alps, and the particular composition of the land combined with a favourable microclimate have been determining factors in the quality of the wines from this area. The Nebbiolo grape is accustomed to the autumn mists because it ripens very late. It has good resistance against the strong thermal variations of the local climate and benefits from the cool temperatures coming from the mountains.

The form of cultivation chosen for our vineyards is vertical trellising and simple Guyot pruning, with a planting height of 2.5x1m. This results in an intensity of 4,000 seedlings per hectare. We have chosen not to bring cement into the vineyards, so the overhead posts are made from chestnut and have been autoclaved to ensure a duration of over 20 years. The intermediate posts are made of iron with steel binary shelves.
