THE WINERY
The Azienda Vitivinicola Enrico Crola was founded in 2006 by cultivating its own grapes. The processing and vinification of these were then subsequently integrated, resulting in the productions of wines and the sale of the finished product. This was based on the dream of creating a company from scratch, and Enrico invested his savings from years spent working as an IT consultant into buying the first plots of land. The first wine cellar came in 2009 – it was small but big enough to accommodate the first harvest.
Since 2010, the winery has been busy with its first sales, expanding its equipment and researching quality and innovative products within the area (most notably, our Metodo Classico spumante).
2014 marked the turning point, as we decided to invest heavily in what we believe in. We began work on our new wine cellar, which grew much larger and became completely enshrouded by greenery, surrounded by our vineyards. The underground part is used for processing the products, while the above-ground construction is made of wood to reduce its environmental impact, reflecting our philosophy of respect for the land.
