First ten days of November 2010.
A few hours after racking off our nebbiolo, the marc is taken by the Pietro Mazzetti distilleries in Montemagno.
The distillation method chosen involves using the artisanal discontinuous copper alembic, i.e. the first appliance with which the practice of commercial distillation of spirits began. Ageing takes place in stainless steel containers.
Organoleptic characteristics
It contains all the strength and finesse that distinguish the Nebbiolo grape variety.
The slightly amber, bright colour captures the taster’s attention with its complex sweet and herbaceous aromas in a soft embrace of alcoholic warmth.
Pairing
Excellent as a digestif at the end of the meal, with dark or milk chocolate and small pastries.
